Mikimoto Pearl Month
Throughout June, we’ll be celebrating Pearl Month with our featured designer — Mikimoto, the originator of cultured pearl jewelry since 1893.
Kokichi Mikimoto devoted his life to pearls and was named, “The Pearl King.” In 1893, he etched Mikimoto in history when he successfully created the world’s first cultured pearls, impressing the likes of Thomas Edison and many others around the globe. His beautiful mark on history has lived on ever since through Mikimoto’s exceptional fine jewelry for more than a century.
