Enjoy Summer Styles At Deutsch Houston

LETTER FROM LANCE

Deutsch Houston recently continued our 90th anniversary celebrations with a fun summer party, Belles and Baubles.
The event was the perfect occasion for guests including influencers and media members to reflect on the store’s history and toast to the future.
We again thank our loyal customers and our amazing in-store team, who have allowed us to see 90 years of business. We would not be here without you all.
Event photos and recaps were shared by CultureMap Houston and PaperCity Houston, if you’d like to see more!
Stop by this summer for spotlight-stealing jewelry for any summer occasion.

Sincerely,
Lance Deutsch, owner

DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: JOHN APEL

For John Apelian, the master craftsman of John Apel, creating fine jewelry is his expression of the extraordinary relationship between art and nature. The fluid shapes, sumptuous textures and vivid gemstones of his platinum and 18-karat gold sculptures are evidence of inspiration drawn from a rolling surf, a blooming garden, and a breathtaking sunset.
View some pieces of the John Apel collection today at Deutsch Houston.

MEET LINDA TURBOFF

What is your position?
Sales Consultant

How many years have you worked for Deutsch Houston?
13 years

What is your favorite gem stone?
Diamond

What is your favorite precious metal?
All colors of gold

What is your favorite watch make and model?
The Rolex Yacht-Master 37 with Everose gold and an Oysterflex bracelet, on a black dial and a black bezel.

What is your favorite customer memory?
There are so many memories that I have from working at Deutsch, but one memory in particular stands out the most. I received a call from a woman looking for an engagement ring, and before we get off the phone, she says “We are blind and are walking to the store, so please be on the lookout for us.” I greeted them outside, found them a place to sit in the store, I described each piece and let them touch, feel and try the pieces on. They were so appreciative of how attentive I was to the details they wanted. They ended up purchasing a blue sapphire and diamond band, which had a personal significance to the couple. Communicating on such a different level to make sure the customer had exactly what they wanted was such a great experience for me.

THE STORY OF WILL AND ABBY

Will and Abby had been dating for several years since meeting at A&M. Will knew that he was ready to make Abby his wife, but first he had to get a ring. After checking a few different places, Will was led to Deutsch Houston.
Will was elated with the service he received from Linda Turboff from the Deutsch sales team, and says she was very helpful and attentive. Will was also impressed at the flexibility he was given to design the ring himself once he found the perfect stone.
Abby’s job sent out a fake invitation to a company dinner at the River Oaks Country Club for Will. Both Will and Abby are avid golfers, so the country club was the perfect setting. Their families hid in the golf shop and once Will proposed their families jumped out to surprise her. The couple celebrated there in the wine cellar with 50 of their closest friends and family members.
They are happily planning their February wedding, and after such a perfect engagement experience, they will continue to use their favorite jeweler, Deutsch Houston, for many years to come.
