These Rings Were Made for Stackin’
How do we choose the right rings to stack? There are a few ways to know whether a ring in question is meant for the stacking life. Typically, ring stacks consist of simple, dainty pieces that paint a finger-sized picture when stacked together. That means thin bands and small flourishes. However, if we’re feeling brave, it’s always fun to add something a little bolder to the stack to act as a centerpiece. Two matching thin bands might fit perfectly on either side of a statement piece. Most of the time, we’d recommend against stacking flat bands with rings that have large center gemstones – though it can look incredible with a bespoke band that fits around the outside curvature of the center gemstones – if not fitted perfectly, the ring stack might look a little off balance.
Stack of Gold
Rule number one of ring stacking: match metals first, and then color. For a warm, summer look, the ring-stacking fashionista can’t go wrong with a stack of yellow gold and shining gemstones. For this lustrous stack, we start off with a vibrant green Tsavorite Pavé Eternity Stackable Band from Deutsch Signature in yellow gold.
