DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: LAUREN K.
Lauren K. Collection is comprised entirely of handpicked gemstones, crafted in 18 karat gold, and finished with delicate micro pave. Each stone is carefully selected for a variety of reasons. The collection is feminine, but with a bit of an edge, innovative, yet on trend with the latest fashions. The “bohemian chic” designs feature an abundance of color rich in character, like tourmalines, labradorites, opals, emeralds, and opaque diamonds, among other striking gems.

My favorite watch make and model is the Rolex 31MM Datejust with a Mother of Pearl diamond dial and a diamond bezel.
What is your favorite customer memory?
Making memories that last a lifetime is a fun and rewarding career. I have had the privilege of building many lasting relationships with customers and their families in the last 20 years, from engagement proposals, special birthdays and remarkable wedding anniversaries. Some fun experiences include presenting a diamond bracelet on a sterling silver tray, alongside the hors d’oeuvres, to a customer’s wife in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary. I also worked with a bride and groom who each purchased a Rolex watch for the other on their wedding day, which was a fun surprise.
THE STORY OF CODY AND ANNA
Cody and Anna had been together for several years and knew it was time to make a forever commitment. The first step was for Cody to find Anna’s dream ring. On a whim, Cody noticed Deutsch Houston while stuck in River Oaks traffic, and decided to stop in.
Cody was thrilled with the ring shopping experience and amazing customer service he received from Donna. He was most impressed with Deutsch’s attention to detail and the holiday cocktail bar set-up, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The couple traveled to Anna’s family home in North Carolina over the holidays and Cody created a lifetime of memories with his stunning proposal. Cody strung Christmas lights to spell out “Marry Me” along the house. Anna was thrilled to accept the proposal and the happy couple celebrated their eternal love with family.
They are happily planning their November wedding and look forward to returning to Deutsch to shop for their wedding bands as they enjoy wedded bliss for many years to come.
DEUTSCH HOUSTON GIVES BACK
On April 5, Heroes for Children (HFC) hosted their annual Houston Heroes & Handbags silent auction and luncheon. This year, Deutsch Houston was the raffle sponsor and donated a stunning pair of 18 karat yellow gold and white/champagne diamond tassel earrings. The proceeds raised benefit families who have a child battling cancer.
This year, HFC raised more than $137,000. With the funds raised, Heroes for Children will be able to provide financial assistance grants and social assistance programs to families who have a child battling cancer. To join Deutsch Houston in supporting Heroes for Children, click here.
